Correspondence, articles, clippings, and promotional materials concerning International Exposition, a scheme run by Max Kaiser, whereby patent medicine manufacturers could purchase "grand prizes" for their products from expositions, 1911-1914; International Faculty of Sciences, a dubious honorary (?) organization, 1932-38; International Health Institute, a mail-order urinalysis scheme which solicited physicians as shareholders and medical examiners for its subscribers, 1927-1935; and International Health Shows, Ltd., a health-fair promotion operated by one Benjamin Powers Rifkin, 1967.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration originated as part of the Dept. of Agriculture.
